Sutter Health Plus members can make informed prescription choices and compare drug prices with a new Drug Price Check tool available through MedImpact.

Available on the MedImpact custom portal for Sutter Health Plus members, this tool provides helpful information, including:

• Formulary tier status (related to copay level)
• Price quotes for retail, mail order, and specialty pharmacies (if applicable)
• Generic alternatives
• “Rules,” such as prior authorization, step therapy, and quantity requirements

Members are encouraged to register for a MedImpact account for personalized pharmacy benefit information. Additionally, prospective members can visit the site and select a guest member type (i.e., individual and family, small group, large group, and high-deductible), which will lead to a pop-up box with the Drug Price Check tool link.
