Sutter Health Plus network hospital Mills-Peninsula Medical Center was recently recognized as the only “triple crown” award recipient in California and one of seven hospitals in the nation to receive Healthgrades’ honors in three award categories: Patient Safety, Patient Experience and America’s 50 Best Hospitals.

Sutter Health Plus network hospitals consistently achieve some of the lowest cesarean section (C-section) rates in California. Recently, 12 network hospitals were recognized by the California Health and Human Services Agency (CalHHS), in partnership with Cal Hospital Compare, for their success in reducing cesarean births among first-time moms with low-risk pregnancies.
