In addition to Sutter’s network of doctors, clinicians, and hospitals—which continually focus on exploring new ways of improving the patient experience—Sutter Health Plus members have access to a variety of innovative tools and resources to easily manage their care and coverage and help them achieve their wellness goals.
Managing Care with My Health Online
My Health Online is a user-friendly tool that helps people manage their care—whenever and wherever it’s needed. Using My Health Online, members can schedule same-day in-person or virtual visits with a Sutter clinician, stay connected to their care team, renew prescriptions, view lab results, receive health alerts and text reminders, and access health information, 24/7. The free mobile app is available through the App Store and Google Play.
Accessing Virtual Care
In the past year, the top reasons patients used telehealth options were for convenience, the ability to receive care quickly, and ease of access to their health information, according to a recent study from J.D. Power. For same-day virtual care for common health needs from a computer or mobile device, consider scheduling a video visit through My Health Online. Depending on plan design, virtual visits are available at the same cost share or less than a traditional in-person visit for members. Video visits with a Sutter clinician are available daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Managing Coverage with the Member Portal
Through the online self-service Sutter Health Plus Member Portal, members can quickly access important forms, documents, ID cards, and information about their benefits, copays, claims, and change their PCP. Members will also find health management articles, self-assessment tools, and videos on the Health and Wellness Site, available through the portal.
Finding Support for Mental Health
Mental wellness is an important part of overall health. Members may self-refer to in-person or virtual visits with a participating behavioral health provider through U.S. Behavioral Health Plan, California for mental health and substance use disorder treatment services by calling 855-202-0984. Online resources are also available anytime at liveandworkwell.com, including a behavioral health provider locator tool, articles, self-assessments, and informational videos. Topics include parenting and caretaking, managing relationships, substance use, and assisting a child or other loved one experiencing a mental health issue.
Using the CVS Caremark Member Portal
The CVS Caremark® Member Portal provides convenient access for members to order prescription refills, check order status and track shipments, chat with specialty-trained pharmacists and nurses, check drug costs and savings opportunities, view benefits, copay, and claims information, and locate a nearby network pharmacy. Through the portal, members may also sign up for Mail Service Pharmacy to receive at least a three-month supply of a prescription drug for the cost of a two-month supply—delivered right to their doorstep. Over time, this option may result in hundreds of dollars in savings, particularly for members with multiple eligible prescriptions. Get started at Caremark.com.
Accessing Wellness Tools and Resources
The Wellness Page provides access to health-related tools and resources, including a library of webinars and tip sheets. Members can also find annual Health Maintenance Guidelines, and information about the one-on-one Health Coaching Program for personalized help for managing a healthy lifestyle, maintaining a healthy weight, tobacco cessation, stress management, and achieving their wellness goals by visiting sutterhealthplus.org/wellness.
