An Update on COVID-19 Vaccinations
Last week, the Food and Drug Administration expanded the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to include adolescents age 12 through 15 with required parental or guardian consent. This is yet another positive step in bringing our communities closer to the end of the pandemic.

In many cases, a video visit for everyday health needs, advice, or follow-up care can be a quick, convenient alternative to making the trip for an in-person visit.
Help for Substance Use
Members have access to medically necessary care services for substance use disorders, including alcohol, through U.S. Behavioral Health Plan, California (USBHPC). This includes in-person or virtual individual and group visits with participating behavioral health providers, inpatient/outpatient treatment, and prescription drugs when medically necessary.
