Do you recall a time when you felt under the weather and you didn’t want to leave the comfort of your couch or bed to drive to your doctor’s office, find parking and wait in the lobby? Today, you have a new option with
Sutter Health.
Video Visits, and More
As a Sutter Health Plus member you have access to video visits—same-day care for non-urgent, common illnesses, such as allergies, sore throats and fevers—for the same cost as your in-person primary care physician visit.* Simply log in to My Health Online (MHO) from your phone, laptop or desktop and schedule a same-day video visit for a convenient time through early evening.** It’s as easy as calling a friend.
MHO also offers 24/7 access to schedule in-person appointments, renew prescriptions, message your doctors, and more.***
Health Plan Portal
You also have virtual access to all your important health plan information when you register for the Sutter Health Plus Member Portal. The portal provides your benefit details, cost-sharing information, and a summary of your individual/family deductibles and out-of-pocket maximum balances. You can also pull up a digital version of your member identification card if you find yourself at your pharmacy or doctor’s office without it.
It’s our goal to help make accessing health care more convenient and engaging. If you have any questions about your care or coverage, please contact Member Services weekdays, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., at 855-315-5800.
*Refer to your Sutter Health Plus combined Evidence of Coverage and Disclosure Form and Benefits and Coverage Matrix to determine your cost share.
**Available to members every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and most holidays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Video visits are not available on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
***If your primary care physician does not participate in MHO, your functionality is limited to viewing lab or test results from Sutter facilities and accessing video visits. Participating providers include doctors with Sutter Medical Foundation, Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, Sutter Gould Medical Foundation, Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, Palo Alto Medical Foundation and other select community providers. Check with your doctor’s office to see if they participate in MHO.
