Physician organizations in the Sutter Health Plus network received awards from Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA), a renowned industry leadership group representing health plans, hospital systems, physician groups and other healthcare stakeholders in California.
The prestigious Excellence in Healthcare Award is considered California’s top honor for IHA physician organizations, recognizing achievements in quality and patient experience. The following physician organizations were honored with the Excellence in Healthcare Award:
- Palo Alto Medical Foundation – Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group
- Palo Alto Medical Foundation – Mills-Peninsula Division/Mills-Peninsula Medical Group
- Sutter Gould Medical Foundation – Gould Medical Group
- Sutter Medical Foundation – Sutter Medical Group
Additionally, Sutter Gould Medical Foundation – Gould Medical Group and Brown & Toland Physicians earned the Ronald P. Bangasser Memorial Award for Quality Improvement. This award recognizes a physician organization for showing the greatest improvement in quality and patient experience performance from 2017 to 2018.
