The Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) has awarded the “2020 Excellence in Healthcare” award, the highest level of achievement, to Sutter Medical Foundation–Sutter Medical Group for the second year in a row. This award reflects the 2019 performance year in the Align.Measure.Perform (AMP) Commercial HMO program. This honor recognizes physician organizations that have succeeded in achieving strong quality results while effectively managing costs. To earn this award, physician organizations must have performance that ranks in the top 50% for clinical quality, patient experience, and cost for their commercial HMO population.
