Physician organizations in the Sutter Health Plus network received awards from the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA), a renowned industry leadership group in California. The following physician organizations were honored with a “top performer” recognition for patient-centered care, with average scores among the top 10 percent:
- Palo Alto Medical Foundation – Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group
- Palo Alto Medical Foundation – Mills-Peninsula Division/Mills-Peninsula Medical Group
- Sutter Gould Medical Foundation – Gould Medical Group
- Sutter Medical Foundation – Sutter Medical Group
- Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation – Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods
In addition, Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation received IHA’s Ronald P. Bangasser Memorial Award for Quality Improvement for the second straight year. This award recognizes a physician organization for showing the greatest improvement in quality and patient experience performance from 2016 to 2017 for organizations in the Bay Area.
