Sutter Health Plus recently invested $75,000 in Fit Quest, an on-site school program that teaches 5th and 6th grade students easy ways to increase physical activity, adopt healthy eating habits and engage in activities that promote mental wellness.
The Fit Quest program, sponsored by Sutter Medical Foundation and Shady Creek Outdoor Education Foundation, reached more than 2,400 students in the Yuba City and Marysville school districts in the 2014-2015 school years. Fit Quest will use Sutter Health Plus’ investment to expand the program into Sacramento and Placer county communities.

Sutter Health Plus’ $75,000 investment in the Fit Quest program is just one more way the health plan fulfills its not-for-profit mission to give back to the community.
