After a trip to a Sutter Walk-In Care location, a video visit, or perhaps a scheduled appointment with a primary care physician, many Sutter Health Plus members will need a prescription filled.
Sutter Health Plus members in a select Bay Area delivery zone have access to free, same-day retail pharmacy delivery through Alto Pharmacy—for many prescription drugs—at the same cost share as picking them up.
Alto Pharmacy offers convenient delivery of prescription medications right to a home or office.
From the Alto mobile app, users can:
- View prescriptions sent to Alto
- Schedule and track deliveries
- Learn more about their medications
- Securely chat with Alto pharmacists
Getting Started: Easy as 1-2-3
1. Download the Alto Pharmacy App for iOS or Android, create an account, and verify the delivery address is in the Bay Area delivery zone.
2. Transfer Prescriptions to Alto Pharmacy within the app or ask the Sutter Health Plus provider to send the prescription to Alto Pharmacy.
3. Schedule Free Delivery after Alto Pharmacy receives the prescription; they will contact the member within an hour to schedule delivery.
Prescription delivery is available between noon and 10 p.m. Prescriptions must be received by Alto before 5 p.m. on weekdays or 1 p.m. on weekends for same-day delivery. Save time and skip the line with Alto.
