2024 marked a significant milestone for Sutter Health Plus as we celebrated our 10-year anniversary on January 1. To commemorate this achievement, we are giving back to the communities that have supported us throughout the years by donating a total of $136,000 to five charities that share our commitment to improving people’s lives in our local communities.
Rob Carnaroli, Vice President of Sales shared, “It has been a privilege to launch a provider-sponsored health plan right here in Northern California and see it grow to over 117,000 members. Having the opportunity to give back in such a meaningful way to our communities is a true honor. Our team members selected charities that have a powerful impact on those who seek their services, and we are excited to support the valuable work they do.”
The chosen charities are:
Center for Human Services: A local nonprofit serving Stanislaus County’s youth and families through prevention, education, intervention, shelter, counseling and treatment services.
My Sister’s House: Serves Asian and Pacific Islanders and other underserved women and children in the Greater Sacramento Area affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
Richmond Area Multi Services: Provides free counseling, case management, outreach, mental health education, job training, long-term housing and consultations to those in need.
Verity: to eliminate all forms of violence, focusing on sexual assault and abuse in Sonoma County, through counseling, advocacy, intervention and educational services.
Women’s Empowerment: Educates and empowers women experiencing homelessness in Sacramento with the skills and confidence needed to find jobs, lead a healthy lifestyle, and rebuild stable homes for themselves and their children.
Sutter Health Plus is proud to contribute to these impactful organizations as part of our 10-year celebration, demonstrating our commitment to the communities we are honored to serve.
