Convenient Ways to Manage Wellness

The winter months often bring holiday gatherings and busy social schedules. It can also be a time of preparing meals and caring for others, and it’s important to manage one’s own wellness and know how to access quick care, should a health need arise. From booking a same-day appointment with a clinician and messaging a care team to scheduling a prescription for home delivery, Sutter Health Plus members have a variety of convenient ways to manage their health — anytime, anywhere.

Online Member Resources
The Sutter Health Plus Member Portal provides 24/7 access to member ID cards and important information about eligibility, benefits, cost sharing and claims. Through the Member Portal, members can also access the Health and Wellness site for a variety of health management articles, self-assessment tools, videos and tips for improving wellness. Additionally, tip sheets and webinars on topics like nutrition, fitness and mental health are available at sutterhealthplus.org/wellness.

My Health Online
Through My Health Online, Sutter’s secure patient portal, members can schedule in-person and virtual visits with a participating provider or Sutter clinician, connect with their care team, view lab results, receive text reminders and pay a bill. Virtual Care
Don’t have time for an in-person office visit? Virtual care is a convenient alternative for quickly accessing care by telephone, mobile device or computer. Using telehealth for routine care and mental health visits has become a popular option in recent years. According to a recent study from J.D. Power, participants list the primary reasons for selecting telehealth over an in-person visit were convenience and ability to receive care quickly. When a common, everyday health need arises, virtual care appointments are available for members during and after normal business hours and on weekends through My Health Online. Mental Health Support
It’s normal to experience a range of complex emotions during the holiday season, holiday gatherings and colder winter months. Finding support can be essential for maintaining wellness and managing well-being. Members have 24/7 access to confidential support by calling U.S. Behavioral Health Plan, California (USBHPC) at (855) 202-0984. Members may also self-refer to in-person or virtual visits with a participating behavioral health provider for mental health and substance use disorder treatment services through USBHPC. Pharmacy, Members can easily manage their prescription medications through the CVS Caremark® Member Portal — including checking drug prices, ordering refills, setting up automatic reminders, tracking shipments, enrolling in mail service pharmacy, viewing claims information and connecting with specialty-trained pharmacists and nurses.
