At Sutter Health Plus, the health and safety of our members remains our top priority. Please be assured that we are actively engaged and working to ensure our members navigate their care and coverage during this time of heightened concern about the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Accessing Care and Coverage
Video or telephonic visits with licensed clinicians for treatment and advice helps minimize the spread of infection and ease pressure on provider offices, emergency rooms, and urgent care centers. A member who feels ill may schedule a video visits through My Health Online or call the 24/7 Nurse Advice line at 855-836-3500. Members can also call their provider to discuss the most appropriate treatment options.

Members have a variety of options to manage their prescription medications, including:

• Enrolling in mail order pharmacy to get up to a 100-day supply, as the benefit plan allows, of maintenance medications (high-blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, etc.)—all at reduced cost-share and $0 shipping
• Transferring existing medications or new medications to a participating Smart90® pharmacy to fill a 90-day supply at standard cost-share
• Refilling prescriptions early—day 23 for a 30-day supply and day 68 for a 90-day supply
• Picking up prescription drugs at most independent pharmacies and chains, including CVS Pharmacy, Raley’s, Bel Air, Safeway and Walgreens, to name a few
• Accessing free, same-day retail pharmacy delivery in a select Bay Area delivery zone through Alto Pharmacy—all at the same cost share as picking them up

Member Cost-Shares
Members seeking medically necessary screening and testing for COVID-19, including visits to hospitals and emergency departments, urgent care centers, and provider offices, will receive the services at no out-of-pocket cost. Any member who receives a bill should contact Sutter Health Plus Member Services at 855-315-5800.

Preventing the Spread of Infection
While health officials still indicate the risk from COVID-19 is low, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends everyday actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

• Washing hands regularly with soap and water or using hand sanitizer
• Avoid touching your face, and sneeze into tissues or your elbow
• Staying home from work or school when sick to prevent infecting others
