Same-day care for everyday health needs is right around the corner for many Sutter Health Plus members. Sutter Walk-In Care is now open in West Sacramento and Novato, offering convenient access to care—no appointment necessary.
The new West Sacramento Walk-In Care is at 2055 Town Center Plaza in the Southport Town Center. The Novato location is at 5800 Nave Drive off Highway 101. Sutter Walk-In Care staff includes clinicians who can diagnose, treat and prescribe medications, if needed, all overseen by a physician medical director. These facilities also use Sutter’s Electronic Health Record—digitally connecting members’ medical records across Sutter, allowing clinicians and doctors to better coordinate care. And with My Health Online, members can access their treatment report, or “After Visit Summary.”
“People want convenient, high-quality healthcare located near where they live, work or shop,” said Rob Carnaroli, Sutter Health Plus vice president of sales. “With 21 locations open now in Northern California, and more on the horizon, Sutter is expanding access to care that is safe, personal and affordable.”
Sutter Walk-In Care is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and most holidays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members can book same-day appointments through My Health Online or simply walk in to any location. Through a new online feature, On My Way, members can see a map of Walk-In Care clinics and schedule the next available appointment. Appointments are billed at the same out-of-pocket cost as a primary care visit.
