Treatment for everyday care is now even more accessible for Sutter Health Plus members. Two new Sutter Walk-In Care clinics opened this month—and four more are scheduled to begin operations early next year.
Members can access a new clinic at the Nugget Plaza shopping center in Roseville, located along Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Fairway Drive. Another clinic is now open in Mountain View on North Rengstorff Avenue, south of West Middlefield Road. Additional clinics slated to open in 2019 include Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, San Jose, and Aptos.
Located throughout the Bay Area and greater Sacramento area, Sutter Walk-In Care clinics provide care for everyday illnesses and health needs. Services include treatment for common illnesses such as the flu and other respiratory infections, sprains and strains, and seasonal allergies. Members can also access health screenings, immunizations and a smoking cessation program. For quick and convenient care, members can go online to book a same-day visit or just walk in—at the same cost share as a primary care visit.
“With 14 locations, and four more on the way, Sutter Walk-In Care is transforming how members access care from our quality network of providers,” said Rob Carnaroli, Sutter Health Plus vice president of Sales. “From walk-in care to video visits, and virtual-first primary care, Sutter is re-imagining the way health care is delivered.”
Sutter Walk-In Care clinicians can diagnose, treat and prescribe medications—all overseen by a physician medical director. Clinics are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and most holidays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are not needed, but we encourage scheduling ahead online or by phone. Services are available for adults and children 18 months of age and older. Learn more at sutterhealthplus.org/walk-in.
