Virtual-first Primary Care Expands in the Bay Area
Tera, a virtual-first approach to primary care, is an innovative digital health model that was established by Sutter Health prior to the pandemic. With Tera, a dedicated medical team focuses on helping members live their healthiest lives. The Tera care team includes a primary care physician (PCP), licensed nurse, health coach, and nurse practitioner who all provide in-person or virtual care.
Fifteen Sutter Health Plus Network Hospitals Among Best in California
Fifteen hospitals in the Sutter Health Plus network achieved recognition as being among the best in California for 2021-2022 by U.S. News & World Report. Hospitals were scored on 32 clinical areas, including adult specialties, procedures, and conditions, and patient experience, patient outcomes, nursing quality, and the adept use of technology.

Sutter Health Plus is Expanding in Nevada and Placer Counties
July 1, 2021, will mark the fifth service area expansion for Sutter Health Plus, offering coverage for two new ZIP codes in Nevada County and five new ZIP codes in Placer County effective July 1, 2021.
