Managing Your Health—Anytime, Anywhere

Dec 13, 2022 | 2022, Access, Health and Wellness

The holiday season often means family gatherings, travel, and busy schedules. But no matter the time of year, health needs can arise. Whether it’s scheduling an appointment with a clinician or refilling a prescription, Sutter Health Plus members have access to convenient online self-service tools for managing care whenever and wherever it’s needed.

My Health Online
With My Health Online, members have 24/7 access to stay connected with a care team, view lab results, receive text reminders, and pay a bill. Members can also schedule a same-day video visit with a participating Sutter clinician or book an appointment at Sutter Walk-In Care.

To get started, download the My Health Online mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.

Virtual Care from Anywhere
Telehealth offers a convenient alternative to an in-person visit for quickly accessing care. According to a recent study from J.D. Power, surveyed patients said they preferred utilizing telehealth options to in-person visits when accessing routine care for these top three reasons:

  1. Telehealth offers convenience (61%)
  2. The ability to receive care quickly (49%)
  3. Easy access to their health information (28%)

The study also showed that telehealth was the preferred option for participants when refilling prescriptions, discussing test results with a clinician, and accessing regular mental health visits.

Members can access virtual care options from their mobile phone, tablet, or desktop through My Health Online.

Online Member Resources
Members have 24/7 access to important information about eligibility, benefits, cost sharing, claims, and access to their member ID cards through the Sutter Health Plus Member Portal. Members also have access to the Health and Wellness Site for health management articles, self-assessment tools, videos, and tips for improving wellness. Additionally, a library of health tip sheets and webinars can be found at sutterhealthplus.org/wellness.

Mental Health Support
While a joyful time for many, the holidays may bring up a range of emotions for others. It’s important to know that help is available. Members may self-refer for in-person or virtual visits with a participating behavioral health provider for mental health and substance use disorder treatment services through U.S. Behavioral Health Plan, California (USBHPC). Call USBHPC at 855-202-0984 or visit liveandworkwell.com to schedule an appointment.

Pharmacy
Through the CVS Caremark® Member Portal, members can connect with specialty-trained pharmacists and nurses and manage their prescription medications 24/7. This includes the ability to order refills and set up automatic refill reminders, track shipments, enroll in mail service pharmacy, and view claims information. Sign up for the portal at Caremark.com or download the mobile app to get started.

Members are also encouraged to join our online community on FacebookTwitter, and LinkedIn for timely care and coverage updates, health information, and to reach out for assistance.
